This Privacy Policy describes how Tesseract Consulting LLC, doing business as PinnacleBizBrokers.com ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit pinnaclebizbrokers.com, use the PinnacleBizBrokers Academy training platform at academy.pinnaclebizbrokers.com (together, the "Services"), or otherwise communicate with us.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you request information, book a call, or enroll, we collect the details you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, the state in which you intend to operate, your business name, and the contents of your messages. When you create an Academy account we also collect a mailing address, whether you hold a real estate license, and a profile photograph, which is used on your Certificate of Completion and badge.
Sign-in information. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with us. We do not receive your Google password. If you sign in with an emailed link, we store your email address.
Course activity. We record which modules you open, quiz attempts and scores, downloads, and certificate issuance so that the platform can track your progress and issue your certificate.
Automatically collected information. Like most websites, we and our service providers collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and the date and time of visits, using cookies and similar technologies. The Academy uses cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in.
2. How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries, schedule and conduct consultations, and deliver the program you purchased.
- To operate the Academy, including account approval, course progress, quizzes, certificates, and live session notices.
- To send transactional emails and text messages such as sign-in links, approval notices, and week-unlock reminders, and, where you have agreed, marketing messages you may opt out of at any time.
- To improve our Services, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf and under our instructions, including customer relationship and messaging tools (GoHighLevel), website and application hosting (Vercel), database, authentication, and file storage (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), sign-in services (Google), and scheduling (Cal.com). We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.
4. Certificates and badges
When you complete the course, we generate a Certificate of Completion and a badge image that include your name and profile photograph. You may choose to display the badge publicly; a public verification page will confirm your name, the certificate code, and the date of completion. You may ask us to update or remove this information at any time.
5. Data retention and security
We retain account and course information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
6. Your choices and rights
You may update your profile within the Academy, unsubscribe from marketing messages using the link in any email or by replying STOP to a text, and request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law, and we will honor them as required.
7. Children
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
